Raashanim [Rattlers]

I beckoned visitors to tread upon the room's renewed flooring, laid with unexpected tiles. Each tile possessed the capacity to harbor diverse materials and sensations, even sound itself. My research delved into the integration of objects and remnants from my studio, each firmly anchored to individual floor tiles. The dimensions were chosen deliberately, allowing one to step upon a single tile or several simultaneously. It was an especially unsettling period, when the cultural realm found itself mired in significant financial straits, institutions shuttering their doors, most works cancelled. How unstable could a floor become?
