A public refrigirator, made of meteric measuring tapes.

This work offers an interpretation of the new term "two meters," while engaging with remnants and measurement. The refrigerator stands as a symbol of abundance, hoarding, and grounding. It is a basic product that can be linked to preservation and life extension, yet also to the potential waste of food. An embodiment of consumption and industrialization, an ecological footprint. My refrigerator is destined to remain empty. Orphaned, transparent, one can see through it. It plays on the seam between interior and exterior, its inside matching its outside. It grapples with questions of how capable I am of producing a refrigerator, and filling it. Whether the raw materials I use generate additional waste, or whether I can create work that prevents remnants, leaving no trace."
